Paula Creamer

At just 21 years old, Paula Creamer is one of the premier woman golfers in the world.  Born in Mountain View, California, in August of 1986, Creamer began golfing as a young child.  By the time she was 12, she had won 13 consecutive regional junior events, becoming California's top-ranked junior golfer.  She went on to establish herself as a dominant amateur, claiming 19 titles, including 11 American Junior Golf Association tournaments.

Creamer's big breakthrough came during the 2004 LPGA Tour Final Qualifying Tournament.  She won the event by five strokes.  The next day, she became a professional golfer at the ripe old age of 18.

Creamer carried her dominance into the professional ranks, where she quickly became one of the LPGA's top competitors.  She's already notched nine pro wins, with seven coming on the LPGA Tour.  To date, however, she's been unable to win a Major.  Her best finish in any Major event came when she placed third at the 2005 LPGA Championship.  Yet Creamer's consistent excellence on tour has elevated her as high as No. 2 in the world rankings.

Creamer is as stylish as she is skilled.  Her fondness for wearing the color pink has earned her the nickname "Pink Panther," and she plays it to the hilt, using a pink golf bag, pink club grips, and even Pink Panther club head covers.  She also uses a pink golf ball during the final round of every tournament.  The pink certainly seems to be working, as she's already booked more than $5 million in career earnings.
