Paula Kramer

Paula Creamer hasn’t won any major championships – yet. The Pink Panther will sooner than later have a major championship under her belt. Paula got the Pink Panther nickname because she always wearing pink, even her golf ball is pink and her driver sports a Pink Panther headcover. Creamer played as an amateur in 2003-04 and was named AJGA Player of the Year in 2003. More recently, Creamer posted a 60 in the 2008 Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic.

Paula is a California girl who took up the sport at the age of 10. She won 11 American Junior Golf Association titles. Creamer kept making her presence known in the golf world in 2004. She was 17 then and tied for 13th at the U.S. Women’s Open. Creamer then played on a sponsor’s exemption and placed second at the LPGA Tour’s ShopRite Classic.

Paula Creamer was just getting started when she entered the LPGA’s Qschool at the end of 2004. She turned pro and joined the tour after she was selected by two golf magazines to be the top amateur of 2004. Creamer’s first pro win came at the Sybase Classic and that win made her the 3rd youngest winner in LPGA history. She hasn’t stopped; her Pinkness kept on winning and helped the U.S. Solheim Cup team to victory by leading them with 3-1-1 record. In 2006, a wrist injury hampered Creamer and she didn’t win a tournament even though she posted more top 10s. The next year, 2007, began as a winning year. SBS Open at Turtle Bay fell to Creamer, as did another tournament that year.
