She entered the training program for professional women golfers in Scottsdale, Arizona and played in Florida as well.
She began playing professionally in 2005. She played in the West Coast Ladies Golf Tour during the winter of 2005 with some success. She then returned to Sweden to play in the Swedish Professional Tour. She qualified for the Ladies European Tour and after that has come back to the United States where she has qualified for the ladies professional tour.
Louise Friberg played in many tournaments during her years at the University of Washington finishing in the top ten in ten tournaments. In her third year as a professional, she won the LPGA Mastercard Classic by one stroke. She will be a force to be reckoned with in the next few years as she gains experience and confidence.
