Julie Inkster is a mom of two teenagers and a pro-golf player. She was born in California in 1960. She attended Harbor High School and went to college at San Jose State University. Inkster has a common side and a pro side. Her personal side seems to be discussed more than her pro-golf side.
Although she is a professional golfer she lives a fairly normal life. Fr example, Inkster has 750,000 frequent flier miles. She and her daughters also teach pro-golf. Inkster is a person who tends to always run late or behind schedule. She is also a newspaper and magazine reader and loves to vacation in Hawaii on the beach. Like most other women she owns multiple pairs of shoes. The family as a whole likes to go see hockey games.
Inkster was an All-American (an honorary sports team) in 1979, 1981, and 1982. Also in the year of 1981 she was named Athlete of the Year. Inkster won three United States Women’s Amateur Golf Championships in a row from 1980 to 1982. She is also known for winning 31 tournaments on the LPGA Tour. One of the big recent accomplishments by Inkster is that she led the Women’s Open in England for August 2008. This year will mark her 25th year on tour. She has toured all over the world from Africa to Scotland.
