Paula Creamer is a young American professional golfer who started playing golf when she was 10 years old, and at the age of 12 won an impressive 13 consecutive regional junior events in Northern California. Just one year later she went on to be the top ranked female junior golfer in the state. She won 19 amateur national titles and turned professional at the age of 18 in 2005, after winning the LPGA Tour Final Qualifying Tournament by five strokes. This gained her a membership on the 2005 Tour season, where she quickly became a top player.
Paula was born in Mountain View, California, but was raised in Pleasanton, as an only child of Paul and Karen Creamer. Their house overlooked the first tee of the Castlewood Country Club’s golf course. She moved to Bradenton, Florida in 2002 to attend the IMG Golf Academy and her success has continued since. More recently she earned her fifth LPGA title at the Fields Open in Hawaii in February 2008, and has many endorsements from companies such as Adidas, Taylor Made, RBS, NEC, Kraft Foods, Sundog Eyewear, CDW, Aldila, Bridgestone and Citizen Watch. She has an association with the color pink and her nickname “Pink Panther” has followed her throughout her career.
Paula has won eleven American Junior Golf Association tournaments and has won 19 national titles. In 2002, she was a member of winning the US Junior Solheim Cup team. She has an eagerness for the game and will be a professional golfer to keep your eye on for years to come.
