Packaged in a petite 5’5” lively and amusing frame, Jenna Daniels is explosive on the golf course. At the age of 12, Jenna began golfing with her father, Paul Daniels, once a golf coach at Southwestern College in San Diego. Within a half a dozen short years, Jenna was racking up her golf wins. Winning the American Junior Golf Association two times, the California State Amateur Championships two times, the Junior America’s Cup Member two times and was a member of the Cannon Cup Team.
Impressively, Jenna was recruited by UCLA, Southern Cal and the University of Arizona. Enjoying the comfort of being close but not too close to home, and clicking with the atmosphere of UA, Jenna chose the University of Arizona. While there she assisted her team in two NCAA championships and was named NCAA Player of the Year in 2000. Jenna was the Pac-10 champion in 1998, a three time All-American in 1998-2000 and Honda Award recipient in 2000. These are only a few among many championships this champion has won.
While working with children in the course of being a counselor at golf camps and teaching golf to children, Jenna wanted to become an elementary school teacher if her goal of making in the Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour (LPGA) didn’t pan out. After college Jenna proudly qualified for the LPGA on her first attempt and has been a professional golfer since 2000.
