Female Golfer Rebecca Hudson

Rebecca Hudson grew up a sport loving person. As a child she loved basketball but also excelled in art. She received her diploma in Art and Design at Doncaster College.

She was introduced to golf when she was 11 years old, acting as caddie for her Mom. She loved the sport so much that by the age of 13 she started playing the game. Golf came easy to her, she even missed afternoons at school to play golf. By the time she was 15 she was representing English Girls, achieving one of her many goals.

In September 2002, Rebecca turned pro. Her list of accomplishments are long and rewarding.
In 2005, she finished 41st on the Money List and 52nd on the New Star Money List which earned her full card for 2006. She then tied 16th at the Ladies Finnish Master and tied 20th at Austrian Open. In 2007, even with an injury, Rebecca managed to have a good season. She came out as runner up in the Telkom Women’s Classic (South Africa). Hudson placed 5th at the Acer Women’s SA Open, and finally 15th at the SAS Masters (Norway). All together she topped in 20 placings that year even with an injury.

Her early success led her to Yorkshire Champion in 1995, 1997, and 1998, the Bridget Jackson Bowl in 1996, the French Junior Champion in 1997, and the England Girl International 1994-1996. As of July 31 through August 3, 2008, according to the LPGA Leaderboard, she has been placed in the T56 position, with 288 strokes, and a purse of $5,012.
