Female Golfer Carin Koch

Carin is a Swedish professional golfer, and was born in Sweden on February 23, 1971. She mainly plays on the U.S. based LPGA Tour. She is also a member of the Ladies European Tour. She started playing golf at the age of nine. She was a member of the University of Tulsa Golf team. Carin is also currently a mother, and gave birth to her first son in 1998. She gave birth to her second child in 2003. In 1992, she joined the professional golf scene. In 1995, she joined the LPGA Tour as a rookie. She is now a top contender, with over 40 top 10 tournament finishes. In 2002, she topped a Playboy internet poll as the sexiest woman on the LPGA. She declined to pose nude for them. She currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona.

Her best LPGA finish was a tie for second in her 1995 rookie year at the JAL Big Apple Classic. On the LET Tour she gained two top ten finishes. She almost gained her maiden LPGA victory in 1996, losing the Edina Reality Classic to Liselotte Neumann in a playoff. At the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic in 1999, she had a two-shot lead with just a final hole to play. She finally became a LPGA maiden winner at the LPGA Corning Classic in 2001. She won her second career LPGA event in 2005 at the Corona Morelia Championship. Carin was Captain's Pick for the Solheim Cup in 2005. Carin and Sophie Gustafson teamed up to represent Sweden at the inaugural Women's World Cup of Golf.
