Little Girl to LPGA - Sandra Gal

“The tighter the course gets, the better your focus is.” There probably is not one professional golfer, male or female, who would disagree with that statement whatsoever. No one understands it more than LPGA rookie, Sandra Gal.

Since leaving her homeland of Germany to attend college at the University of Florida, focus has proven to be her common denominator when it comes to reaching those goals she has set for her self. Her tournament road trips have been long, spanning thousand of miles across this nation of ours from New York to as far away as Hawaii.

Even while carrying a full compliment of classes with a major in advertising, she managed to carry a three-time NGCA All-American title. And it has not stopped there. Despite just graduating this past May, she has signed on with one of the industry’s illustrious agencies, Wilhelmina, to open other opportunities in fashion and entertainment as well. There has been little time for rest and relaxation when it comes to being a rookie and Sandra has not let that deter her from still setting the bar extremely high as she begins her LPGA career.

Sandra's 2008 LPGA player performance record is pretty impressive to say the least. It certainly mirrors how important it is for any professional player to focus and put their nose to that grindstone. No matter how you look at it, the end result for Sandra Gal is doing the very best she can possibly do.

With top standing tournaments such as Wegmans, LPGA Corning Classic, Michelob Ultra Open, Fields Open and Safeway International Presented by Coca-Cola already under her belt, Sandra is well on her way to fulfilling those dreams that began when she first held a club in her hand as a little girl.
