Nicole Gabriela Hage was born on August 4, 1985 in Miami, Florida. Her hometown is Coral Springs, Florida. She went to high school at Coral Springs Christian Academy and attended Auburn University. She graduated in 2007 with a degree in communications.
Hage started playing golf at age three and, by age seven, knew that she wanted to play in the LPGA. She did her training at TPC Eagle Trace in Coral Springs, Florida.
While at Auburn University, Hage had 21 top-10 finishes in collegiate competition. From 2000 to 2003, she played in the USGA, where she qualified for match play every year. She won six matches in four years, which qualified her for the 2003 U.S. Women’s Amateur.
Hage competed in four U.S. Women’s Open Championships, was a member of the 2002 PING Junior Solheim Cup Team, Canon Cup East Team and competed in the 2003 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship.
In 2004, Hage was named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year and SEC Player of the Year. In 2005, 2006, and 2007, she made NGCA All-American Honorable Mention selection.
In her junior year, Hage was named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Team, tied for 79th at the NCAA Championships, finished 43rd in the NCAA East Region, placed 34th at the SEC Championships, and placed third at the LSU Cleveland Golf Classic.
Hage was named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American and All-Region East Team in her senior year. In the Golfweek rankings, she ended the year ranked 29th. In 2008, she turned pro and is a current member of the LPGA Tour.
